About

I started taking pictures when I was in middle school following my father interest in photography and using one of his cameras.

Eventually he gave me my own camera and taught me how to operate in dark room, developing films, printing images and etc.

However photography did not click with me until my daughter has been born. Documenting her growing was a real joy.

Photography went into my fabric even deeply when my sons were born. That was and still is my love for taking photos of kids.

During my last few years I participated in group shows at ‘Small Works Gallery’ at NYU and was a finalist of all-American competition of emerging photographers run by PDN in 2007.

In July 2010 I exhibited my prints at exhibition to benefit Museum of Russian art in NYC, and once again in 2011 in Jersey City, NJ.

In 2011 I won second place in competition sponsored by Fuji and third place in print competition sponsored by MOAB Paper and B&H Photo Video.

Series of y images ‘Painted Girl’ was published in Penthouse magazine.

Ragmag – fashion magazine in Lebanon, published my image on its cover in 2012.

Since 2012 I regularly contribute my prints for silent auctions at Night of Thousand Gowns to benefit Imperial Court of New York.

In May 2015 Rizzolli published book “High Art: Public Art on the High Line” with my photo full page.
